One way to handle a break

The NHK daily drama had an interesting twist to handle the New Year's break.

So - we ended with a big scene, kicking down the wall and declaring his love. Use teasers to make sure we come back, and then jump ahead to put us in the middle of another tense scene, backfilling as needed to bring us up to date.

This was just at half way through the 26 week show (which everyone calls a yearly drama, but this one is only a half year.)
