While I'm thinking about it . . .

This weekend, somewhere in the Osaka-Kobe area, they shut down the city for a little while. Evacuated the neighborhood, stopped trains, and blocked all traffic.

Apparently someone had discovered a World War II bomb -- unexploded -- after all this time. Rather than take any chances, they cleared the area, then over the weekend cleared a larger area while they dug it up and took it away. The stoppage of the trains and traffic was the big news.

I think it is interesting that this was in a well-developed area, and yet hadn't turned up until now.
