What a beautiful day!

Egads, the sun is shining, it's a gorgeous day.
And the cold I had earlier in the week has broken. Yesterday was my first day back at work, and while I felt stuffy, the world was dry. Perhaps I should think of that as high tide... just waiting for the tide to turn?
Today started with the strangest thing I've done in a while. The alarm clock rang, I got up, went into the living room, started my morning exercises... knee twists, flat on my back, one, two, three...
And suddenly realized that I had fallen asleep again laying on the floor in the middle of doing exercises. Oops. I decided if I was that groggy, I should go back to bed and sleep until I woke up. After all, no one is particularly expecting me in today.
So I went back to bed. Laid down. And, of course, found myself more or less wide awake, even if my eyes were closed. I waited a bit, but clearly whatever dribble of sleep had caught up with me in the middle of exercises, it was gone now. So I got back up. I did skip the rest of my exercises, though.
And my sinuses all seem intent on clearing out the backlog, so I am running through tissues. But my head feels clearer than it has felt all week, even if I am daunted by the pile of stuff that I have postponed.
Now if I can just get done blowing my nose.
