I'm trying to get the right perspective

A couple of weeks ago, wandering through a store, I spotted these fleece slippers. Nice black, with snazzy white, green, and blue dots. Aha, says I, these look like just the thing to keep my feet warm  in the evenings. This is Japan, after all, where shoes are left at the door. And, perhaps due to the color, they were cheap. Mitsuko laughed but let me buy them.

And indeed, they have been very comfortable.

But tonight, when I got home, they had disappeared. Looking around for them, I realized that Mitsuko's feet had some very familiar dots on them. And when I asked, well, apparently she decided I had a good idea.

I understand that the next time we see them in a store, I can buy myself a new pair.

So I guess I'm brilliant.

But y'a know, my toes are chilly tonight!
