Drat. Reading along, and stumbled over "a moose". Then got to thinking about the plural, and strained for a moment or two before realizing that it is "moose." One moose, many moose, all de same.
But there's a tickle in the back of the brain that insists that one mouse is many mice, so one moose should be many meese. Now where did I learn that?
Probably goes along with foot and feet, too.
English is so much fun.
