Here's a fun little squiggle between America and Japan. When someone says "You are going to do this" and you respond "Who, me?" most of us make a gesture. But there's a difference.
In America, we usually tap our chest with our finger. I suppose we're pointing to our heart, maybe?
But in Japan, we usually tap our noses. Perhaps indicating the brain behind the eyes behind the nose?
This also applies when someone says "Who will do this?" and you want to anwer "ME!" In Japan, tap your nose, but in America, tap your chest.
