Did I See That?
Mar. 23rd, 2008 09:40 amSunday morning show . . . a panel show, aimed at adults. And the ads are running.
This one was for a copier. So they're running stacks of copies, passing them out in a conference, more stacks, passing them out here and there, and the final stack is shaking hands, grey suit and brown suit, etc. etc. (all business men, but different ones on each sheet) . . .
Except there was a single one with Chewbacca's paw clasping an elegant woman's hand with a bracelet.
And more suits and men's hands.
I'm not sure whether that odd hairy paw and female hand was simply to wake up the viewers, or perhaps it was some kind of counterculture message? Buried in the middle of the standard commercial?
Did I really see that? Or am I imagining things? And what does it mean?
