Heroes on Yomiuri TV in Kansai?

Huh. Sunday evening, happened to notice something labeled Heroes on at 2ish in the morning (Monday morning really, but listed on Sunday in the channel guide). Since it said it was bilingual, decided to take a chance and record it.

4th episode? Haven't gotten a chance to watch the whole thing yet, but it looks as if it is the US Heroes show that I'd heard about. Channel 10 here in the Nara area. The little piece that I saw was a "previously" catchup bit, except it was such short clips and flashcuts that I found it fairly confusing. Not sure whether I've gotten to the main show yet.

Anyway, it appears that we do have Heroes on a main channel. Strange time, and I have yet to find a reasonable website that refers to it.

oddly, when I finally got to watch the whole show -- I wish they had skipped the background part, which I found confusing. Just starting out the beginning of the main show would've been okay. However, the show seems to be a whole lot of different threads, most of which only had a little bit of forward motion today. I guess the one thread sort of had an arc -- girl in the autopsy room comes back to life and sneaks home, talks with other kids at school, and smashes the car into a wall to kill the guy. Not exactly a winner of a story, at least for me. The other threads also seemed to be somewhat tawdry power dreams, moving slowly forward. Not a terribly good fantasy or SF story, at least in my opinion. And the sketchy presentation doesn't really click for me, either.
