Ge-ge-ge no nyobou 5/6

a.k.a. Under suspicion!

This episode began with a picture of the white board on the fence announcing the young men's military history club. Inside the house, Fumie was making newsletters. The voiceover explained that the fan club had started, and this was their second newsletter. Then Shigeru came out of his room and laughed at Fumie's mustache -- ink under her nose. He took her hand and commented, "Such nice skin." As she looked stunned, he suddenly got up and walked out, saying, "I'm going out for a walk."

Inside, Shigeru and Fumie listened to the secretary ask, "Where is Uraki? We haven't seen him in days." They looked at each other, and said, "We haven't seen him either. But what's wrong?" The secretary explained that the model kits weren't selling, and the publisher was upset. Shigeru said, "I'll bet he's run off again." The secretary showed them a kit -- it seemed to be a few pieces of printed cardboard.

The episode ended with Shigeru staring at the pieces from the model kit.

a.k.a. Goethe saves the day?

This episode started with Fumie showing Shigeru a box of newsletters in envelopes, and asking, "What should we do?" Shigeru said, "Stop, I guess." He looked at the model kit again and muttered, "They're not selling. That guy!" He got up and started into his room. "I guess it's back to work for me..."

Fumie looked at the banners of Goethe quotes. She repeated one phrase from the banners, about good opportunities. (Maybe seize good fortune?)

The episode ended with Shigeru sketching a large face, with one eye (Kitaro always is shown with only one eye).

aka How can I help?

This episode started with Shigeru drawing, hunched over his work table, sweat dripping. Then the upstairs guy walked into the kitchen to get water. Fumie was ironing, with the windows shut. He recoiled from the heat, and said, "What are you doing?" Fumie explained that Shigeru said he needed it hot to draw this part. The upstairs guy said, "But... you don't need to..." Fumie said, "He draws, and corrects, and works so hard. I just want to help."

Fumie caressed the cover, then jumped up and danced around the kitchen. The voiceover told us that she began to understand the attraction of drawing manga that day.

This episode ended with another teaser medley. Among the bits were Fumie announcing that she is Mizuki's wife, and an old street story teller.
